Eutheria
Eutheria are mammals where the females have a womb, allowing the young to develop for a period before birth. They are classified into four cohorts which in turn are divided into several orders (Ferungulata is divided into Superorders, then into orders):

- Edentata (armadillos, sloths, giant anteaters)
- Pholidota (pangolins)
- Primates
- Cohort Ferungulata
- Superorder Ferae

- Tubulidentata (aardvarks, Cape anteaters)
- Superorder Paenungulata
- Superorder Mesaxonia
- Perissodactyla (rhinoceroses, horses, zebras, donkeys)
- Superorder Paraxonia
