Abramo Colorni

From Encyc

Abramo Colorni (also known as Abraham) was an Italian-Jewish engineer, weapons designer, technical expert, purveyor of exotic wares, magician, cryptographer, courtier, Renaissance man, and polymath, born 1544 and died 1599. According to Daniel Jütte he was a professor of secrets. Some have speculated he may have been involved in bringing the Voynich Manuscript to Rudolf II's court.[1]
