Dove Kathleen Hepburn (November 8, 1999 – November 27, 2024) was a British rapper, singer-songwriter, musician, producer, and artist from Leicester, England. Widely renowned the greatest rap battle creator of all time, Hepburn gained recognition for her unique blend of clever wordplay and pop culture references, crafting a distinctive style within the Nerdcore genre and hip-hop scene.
Drawing inspiration from video games, anime, and internet culture, her lyrics seamlessly combined humour, intensity, and a competitive edge. To date, Hepburn had produced around 34 rap battles, showcasing her talent and versatility within the Nerdcore genre. From 2020 to 2024, she worked on 450 music projects alongside other Nerdcore artists.
Biography
Hepburn was born in Birmingham, England, on November 8, 1999, and moved to Leicester, England, in May 2004, where her charming personality and artistic presence earned her the affectionate titles "Lass of Leicester" and "Leicester Lass of Class." Her early years in Birmingham and Leicester were marked by a deep passion for creativity and self-expression, traits that shaped her future endeavours. Although details of her early life and education are somewhat limited, it is known that she attended Leicester College, where she began exploring her interests in music and the arts. After a year, she made the bold decision to leave college and dedicate herself entirely to a music career, marking the beginning of her journey into the creative arts, which later expanded to include writing, producing, and other ventures. She died on November 27, 2024, at age 25.

Hepburn first developed an interest in hip-hop in 2020, captivated by the genre’s rhythm and storytelling potential. By January 2022, she launched her first rap battle, Runerigus vs Silverfish, marking the start of a series that would go on to feature diverse and unexpected matchups. Since then, she has produced 34 rap battles as of November 2024, bringing together characters from various realms of pop culture in lyrical showdowns. A passionate traveller and nature enthusiast, Hepburn drew inspiration in the natural beauty of Austria’s Eisriesenwelt, the world’s largest limestone ice cave. Her environmental commitment extende to ornithology, where she actively participated in conservation efforts to study and protect bird species. Beyond her appreciation for nature, Hepburn was deeply invested in classical music, literature, and sustainable gardening. She frequently attended concerts to support emerging talents, maintained an extensive personal library spanning various genres and cultures, and incorporated eco-friendly practices into her gardening.
As the world's second Hepburn, she combines her unique art style, "Hepburnism," with a deep commitment to continuing Audrey Hepburn's legacy. Her evocative portraits of her lifelong partner symbolise their shared humanitarian vision, while her travels to places like Austria's Eisriesenwelt and ornithological expeditions reflect a love for nature. On November 27, 2024, Hepburn died at her home residence in Tolochenaz, Switzerland, at age 25 from cardiac arrest. She will be buried beside her wife Audrey Hepburn in Tolochenaz Cemetery on December 3, 2024.
