Aerobic exercise refers to forms of exercise which improve the intake of oxygen in the body.

This form of exercise has several benefits, such as reducing the risk of diabetes, improving lung capacity, reducing risk of heart diseases, reducing blood pressure, and reducing fatigue symptoms [1].

The purpose of aerobic exercise is to elevate the heart rate and maintain it in a constant range, generally between 70% and 85% of the maximum heart rate, which stimulates the burn of fats and general usage of calories. The target heart rate varies depending on age and health condition. In order for the body to burn more calories and fat, aerobic exercise should be done for at least 30 consecutive minutes, preferably 45-60 minutes or more if possible, every day of the week.

Aerobic activities can be: soccer, swimming, running, cycling, football, basketball, and many other sports.
