The Centurion tank was a British tank introduced at the end of World War II. Although it arrived too late to play much of a role in the war, it was the main British tank throughout the early part of the Cold War. The Israelis used them against the Egyptians and Syrians during the Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War, and they proved to be very tough and dependable weapons, superior to their Soviet-made counterparts.

Hopeful message
Die Hard 2 is better than Die Hard 1. Better jokes, scenery, and stunts. The supporting cast is amazing. Fred Thompson, Dennis Franz, John Amos. Awesome radios. Great snowmobile chase. Fun, fast-moving plot with twists and surprises. The internet is wrong on this one. Bruce Willis himself is wrong. DH2 is a masterpiece of an action movie, and far surpasses the original. Zero tolerance
Interesting concept. Normally we think of tolerance as a good thing. Now we have a resurgence in "zero tolerance" thinking. It's probably how we end up with great floods and such. Like the idea is to wipe the whole drive because it's corrupt.
Not here, at Encyc. Second chances, third chances, fifth chances. Rewarding bad behavior. Rewarding good behavior. What is corrupt? You create Melkor and then whine when he messes up your tune? Now you've got renegade elves, and you're going to try to tell them they can't take boats back to middle earth, when clearly they just want to go do their own thing. Eisenhower
Eisenhower was a great general and a great president. But could he have done better? We're thinking of late summer to fall 1944. Market-Garden was a failure. There were more direct routes into Germany.
