Editing Mediterranean Sea

The '''Mediterranean Sea''' is a body of salt water that is almost completely enclosed by land. Its name ("in the middle of land") reflects this.

To the north is [[Europe]], to the east is [[Asia]] and to the south is [[Africa]]. The only outlets to other bodies of water are the [[Strait of Gibraltar]] at the western end, to the [[Atlantic Ocean]], and the [[Dardanelles]] which lead ultimately to the [[Black Sea]].

Parts of the Mediterranean have their own names, such as the [[Adriatic Sea]] and the [[Aegean Sea]].
